Music has always been the heartbeat of Serio’s life. Driven by curiosity and a need to understand how the "magic" of music works, he taught himself to play some piano and learned the basics of music theory.
The ideas often start while Serio is walking his greyhound. A melody or some lyrics will come up that just won't go away, and he needed a way to record them. By using a DAW, virtual instruments, and voice synthesisers, Serio found a way to express things that are hard to say out loud. Since he doesn't have a singing voice, these synths are an artificial but better instrument than his own voice, allowing him to use different male or female tones to suit the mood of a song.
Every song shared is part exploration and part confession. Serio finds the mixing process fascinating because it combines technical knowledge with creativity. He leans toward a surgical, clean sound - making sure it sounds exactly the way he wants it to.
Why Serio Molto? In Italian, it means “Serious Very.” Italian is one of the most melodic languages in the world, which is why the most famous operas are written in it. While Molto Serio would be grammatically correct, Serio Molto intentionally breaks the rules. As an amateur, Serio isn't worried about being "correct" or conventional; he’s free to try different things on this journey. It’s up to the listener to decide if Serio Molto is being serious or not.
